Roles & Responsibilities

Main responsibilities

• Lead the discipline project team to ensure the effective execution of Instrumentation and Automation activities
• Verify the accuracy of calculations and analyses from both technical and procedural perspectives
• Ensure compliance with project philosophies, specifications, standards, laws, safety requirements and best practices
• Apply lessons learned from previous projects to design and execution activities
• Support the Engineering Manager in finalising the project execution plan and during cost estimation activities
• Define and implement technical solutions in line with project objectives
• Manage outsourced engineering services and report performance to the Engineering Manager
• Prepare, verify and issue discipline and multidisciplinary documents, coordinating interfaces and information exchange with other PDLs
• Ensure the correct use of standards, best practices, IT tools and the Quality Management System throughout the project lifecycle
• Attend client meetings as required
• Ensure full compliance with national HSE legislation and company HSE policies, promoting a safe and healthy workplace

Skills and experience required

• University degree in Engineering
• Extensive experience in Automation and Instrumentation engineering for oil and gas facilities
• Experience across all project phases (feasibility studies, FEED, detailed engineering and construction supervision)
• Experience in both onshore and offshore projects
• Strong experience with automation systems, including SCADA, PLC, DCS and ESD systems
• Strong knowledge of CONVAL calculation software
• Experience in renewable energy is a plus

Desired Candidate Profile
