This comprehensive NCLEX review course is designed to help nursing students master high-yield concepts tested on the NCLEX exam. It integrates maternity nursing, pharmacology, infection control, neurological assessments, ECG interpretation, and essential nursing skills into one structured learning experience.
Students will learn key maternity topics such as probable signs of pregnancy (Goodell’s and Chadwick’s signs), fetal heart rate monitoring, pelvic anatomy, types of lochia, oxytocin and magnesium sulfate administration, and quantitative blood loss calculations. Infection control principles and safety precautions are explained through NCLEX-style questions and rationales.
Pharmacology is a core component, covering major antibiotic classes including penicillins, cephalosporins, macrolides, aminoglycosides, fluoroquinolones, tetracyclines, carbapenems, sulfonamides, and more—using easy nursing mnemonics. Medication administration skills such as Lovenox injections, IV gauge selection, and dosage calculations are also included.
Neurological content focuses on meningitis assessment, CSF findings, lumbar puncture procedures, meningeal layers, and classic signs such as Kernig’s and Brudzinski’s. Additional skills include blood pressure measurement, IV therapy tips, ECG rhythm interpretation, and correct medical terminology pronunciation.
This course builds confidence, accuracy, and critical thinking needed to pass the NCLEX successfully.
