Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager specializing in Taxation and Reporting to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related matters, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations, and managing financial reporting processes. Proficiency in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and experience using SAP software are essential for this role. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in taxation and financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
1. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements. Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the organizations tax position.
2. Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance with reporting standards.
3. Tax Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tax planning strategies that minimize the organizations tax liabilities while maintaining compliance with tax laws.
4. Tax Provision: Manage the preparation and review of tax provisions, including deferred tax calculations and tax accruals. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax-related provisions in financial statements.
5. Transfer Pricing: Monitor and document transfer pricing policies to ensure compliance with local and international regulations. Review intercompany transactions to determine appropriate transfer pricing methodologies.
6. Tax Audits and Controversies: Manage tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities. Respond to tax notices and resolve tax-related controversies in a timely and efficient manner.
7. SAP Utilization: Utilize SAP software to streamline tax-related processes, maintain accurate tax records, and generate tax-related reports. Provide support to other finance team members in utilizing SAP for tax purposes.
8. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as required. Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
9. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of changes in Egyptian tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, particularly IFRS. Proactively assess the impact of changes on the organizations tax position and financial reporting.
