Job Responsibilities
Baking Methods and Preparation Responsibilities
Transform ingredients into finished and semi-finished products such as bread and other baked products, as per the customers requests and Bakery Sections standard operating procedures
To ensure all bakery products associated with MELT MOEg & CCA, VOX Cinemas & other F&B business in the pipeline are fresh and relevant to market trends and customer expectations
To ensure that all relevant, company policies and regulations are adhered to.
To assist in the inventory management and ongoing maintenance of restaurant operating equipment and other assets.
To assist with the input and oversight of product specifications, recipes and other data as required, supporting the smooth operation of Materials Management and Cost Audit functions.
Operating Standards And Hygiene Control Responsibilities
Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhering to safe work practices
Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner
Maintain hygiene standards and ensure that work areas, including the freezers and chillers are kept clean and food waste is disposed of correctly
Stock Control Responsibilities
To ensure that the bakery section operates with the lowest possible cost structure while also delivering on the brand promise to the guest.
To assist in proactively managing costs based on key performance indicators.
Assist in receiving the supply and perform stock counts whenever needed
To assist in the inventory management and ongoing maintenance of restaurant operating equipment and other assets.
To assist with the input and oversight of product specifications, recipes and other data as required, supporting the smooth operation of Materials Management and Cost Audit functions.
Human Capital Responsibilities
Participate in professional development opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills pertaining to the direct line of work
Apply and follow MAF Retails Human Capital and corporate policies, relevant procedures and instructions
Financial Responsibilities
Respects the procedures in accordance with the existing standard policy
Minimum Qualifications/education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum Experience
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
