Egypt Education Platform is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at Madinaty Language School. The Social Worker will play a critical role in promoting the emotional, social, and academic well-being of our students by providing support and resources to both students and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and support to students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges
• Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive school environment
• Facilitate communication between students, families, and school staff to address any concerns or challenges
• Plan and implement programs that promote social-emotional learning and well-being
• Assist students in developing coping strategies and problem-solving skills
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and interventions
• Work with external agencies and resources to support students and families in need
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred
• A minimum of 3 years' experience working with children and families in educational or community settings
• Strong understanding of child development, mental health issues, and relevant social services
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with students and families
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain a student-centered approach
• Knowledge of current best practices in social work and counseling within educational environments
