Job Description

Conduct comprehensive company valuations for existing and upcoming investments using various methodologies (DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions).
Analyze financial statements, KPIs, and operational metrics to evaluate business performance, competitive positioning, and growth prospects.
Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast performance and assess investment returns.
Lead financial and commercial due diligence across potential deals to validate assumptions, uncover risks, and assess investment feasibility.
Perform in-depth industry research, market analysis, and competitive landscaping to support investment theses.
Collaborate with external advisors and internal teams to synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
Identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial and operational risks throughout the investment lifecycle to ensure sound decision-making.\
Track and report on the performance of portfolio companies, analyzing variances and driving value creation initiatives.
Monitor industry trends and economic conditions that may impact the portfolio or new investment opportunities.
Prepare and present clear, concise, and data-driven investment memoranda, committee presentations, and performance updates.
Effectively communicate complex analytical findings and investment recommendations to stakeholders, investors, and senior management.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
MBA or progress towards a CFA designation is highly preferred.
Experience in a relevant role such as investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or equity research.
Proven experience in financial modeling, company valuation, and due diligence.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
