Job description:
Review the assessment of alternative growth opportunities and develop relevant business plans with relevant stakeholders to be presented to executive management and board for approval (Ex.: mergers & acquisitions opportunities, strategic alliances or partnerships, introduction of new segments with proposed business model, establishing subsidiaries, ...etc.).
Review the development of alternative scenarios to assess the potential impact on AAIB, including capital requirements vis-à-vis the opportunity beforehand.
Review and assess the valuation required for the bank’s strategic investments in accordance with the bank strategic direction
Review and assess the preparing process of the bank’s strategy (Local, Foreign and subsidiaries), in collaboration with the bank-wide business and support areas.
Ensure that detailed project plans are in place, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including lawyers, investment bankers, etc... with clear deliverables, timelines and accountability to ensure delivery within the set target date and abidance to the bank overall strategy.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business or related field
Minimum 10 years of experience (economic background is a plus)
Minimum 2 years in a supervisory position in the strategy field
Investment / Corporate Credit / Retail background is a plus
MBA / CMA / CFA or any professional certificates “degree” is an asset
