Job Description
- Develop and manage short-term and long-term production and material planning
plans.
- Analyze demand forecasts and translate them into effective production schedules.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure
alignment with plans.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess
or shortages.
- Track planning KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints and propose corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, timelines, and quality standards.
- Lead and mentor the planning team to improve performance and efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within planning and supply chain
processes.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a
related field.
- Proven experience as a Planning Manager or in a similar planning role.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, demand forecasting, and inventory
management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strategic thinking with a hands-on operational approach.
- 2 to 3 years’ minimum experience as Planning Manager.
