Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Big Data Engineer with strong data analysis and modeling expertise to design, build, and maintain scalable data foundations that power reporting and advanced analytics.The ideal candidate combines robust data pipeline and modeling skills with the ability to analyze large datasets and support BI and decision-making initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data models (star schema and dimensional models) optimized for analytics and reporting.
• Build and manage analytics-ready datasets that support dashboards, reporting, and ad-hoc analysis.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest, transform, and curate large volumes of data from multiple sources.
• Partner with business and analytics teams to translate requirements into efficient data structures and insights.
• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
• Support and optimize BI dashboards and reports in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across pipelines, models, and reports.
• Monitor and improve data performance, reliability, and scalability.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Big Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or Data Engineer with strong analytical exposure.
• Strong expertise in data modeling, including star schema and dimensional modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working with large-scale datasets.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and transformations.
• Familiarity with BI and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
