Augustus Media are recruiting an enthusiastic multimedia editor. The role is focussed on video editing, that needs to be the passion before videography. 

The role of Production Manager is to help the Videographer & Producer in their duties. He/she will also be responsible for designing images & assets for Augustus portfolio of clients & brands.

The team is responsible for producing quality fast news content. The role is to work as part of a news, lifestyle, business media organization to create content for streaming platforms, shows and social media channels. 

Requirement:

5-8 years of professional editing experience

Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal

Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects

Can create motion graphic videos from concept to final delivery

Shooting skills is a plus.

Skilled in color grading with a strong creative eye for tone, mood, and aesthetics

Ability to source content, match scripts, adapt clips, and craft compelling stories

Knowledge of social media video formats and specifications

Strong understanding of news, sports, and current affairs

Degree in multimedia or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Responsibilities:

Edit videos to targeted lengths and platform-specific specifications

Design and animate motion graphic assets for various content needs

Organize and manage raw footage and edited video files

Export videos in the required formats for mobile and web distribution

Color grade footage to ensure visual consistency and elevate production quality

Add dynamic visual effects such as speed ramping, masking, tracking, and rotoscoping

Shoot and produce content when necessary

Explore multiple edit directions and pitch creative ideas

Ensure compliance with the highest journalistic and creative standards

Modify formats and file sizes for different platforms as needed

Collaborate closely with Directors to ensure the final product reflects the intended vision

Troubleshoot and enhance footage by correcting lighting, color, and overall quality

Ability to implement trendy and advanced visual effects, including:

Speed ramping

Masking and rotoscoping

Motion tracking

Custom visual transitions across different styles and vibes

Balance and fix sound, ensuring a seamless mix between music and sound effects
