Job Description

  • Support in vendor selection, evaluation, and performance tracking.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with quality, pricing, and delivery standards.
  • Maintain an updated supplier database.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders.
  • Ensure accuracy in item description, quantity, and price.
  • Follow-up with suppliers for timely delivery.
  • Conduct negotiations for pricing and payment terms.
  • Benchmark supplier offers through regular market surveys.
  • Track savings against budget targets.
  • Ensure procurement processes align with TMT’s procurement policies.
  • Adhere to audit requirements and legal compliance.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to track inventory needs.
  • Prevent overstocking or shortages through timely purchasing.
  • Submit procurement reports on costs, supplier performance, and delivery status.
  • Highlight risks and propose solutions.
  • Coordinate with Finance for supplier payments.
  • Work with Operations, Retail, and Marketing for specific purchasing needs.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Procurement. Master’s or Procurement Certification (CIPS, CPM) is a plus.
  • Experience: 5–7 years in procurement, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management.
  •  Knowledge of procurement cycles and ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting.
