Job Description
- Manage and control inventory of heavy haulage equipment, spare parts, tools, and consumables.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems.
- Plan inventory levels to support heavy transport operations and project schedules.
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Monitor stock movements, usage, aging, and obsolescence.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile variances.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of heavy equipment and spare parts.
- Manage re-order levels and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
- Control inventory costs and prepare inventory-related budgets and reports.
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Support audits and provide required inventory documentation.
- Analyze inventory data and prepare periodic reports for management.
- Train and supervise inventory and storekeeping staff.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in inventory or materials management within heavy haulage, transport, construction, or logistics industries.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment, trailers, spare parts, and maintenance materials.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of HSE requirements related to heavy equipment storage and handling.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
