Job Description

1. Manage and control inventory of heavy haulage equipment, spare parts, tools, and consumables.
2. Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems.
3. Plan inventory levels to support heavy transport operations and project schedules.
4. Coordinate with operations, maintenance, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
5. Monitor stock movements, usage, aging, and obsolescence.
6. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile variances.
7. Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
8. Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of heavy equipment and spare parts.
9. Manage re-order levels and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
10. Control inventory costs and prepare inventory-related budgets and reports.
11. Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
12. Support audits and provide required inventory documentation.
13. Analyze inventory data and prepare periodic reports for management.
14. Train and supervise inventory and storekeeping staff.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. 7+ years of experience in inventory or materials management within heavy haulage, transport, construction, or logistics industries.
3. Strong knowledge of heavy equipment, trailers, spare parts, and maintenance materials.
4. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar).
5. Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
6. Knowledge of HSE requirements related to heavy equipment storage and handling.
7. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
