We are looking for a Scrum Master to support Scrum Teams in a fast-paced SaaS product environment.
The Scrum Master acts as a servant-leader and facilitator, ensuring Scrum is understood and applied effectively. This role focuses on enabling self-managing teams, facilitating Scrum events, removing impediments, and fostering continuous improvement.
This position does not include people management, delivery ownership, or resource allocation.
The Scrum Master collaborates closely with Product Owners, Developers, and stakeholders to improve team effectiveness and product outcomes.Key Responsibilities
Scrum Facilitation
Facilitate Scrum events including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Ensure Scrum events are effective, time-boxed, and aligned with Scrum principles.
Scrum Coaching & Enablement
Act as a servant-leader to the Scrum Team.
Coach teams on Scrum theory, practices, and values.
Support teams in becoming self-managing and cross-functional.
Impediment Management
Identify and help remove impediments affecting the Scrum Team.
Facilitate problem-solving while enabling the team to own solutions.
Escalate organizational impediments when needed.
Product Owner & Stakeholder Support
Support Product Owners with backlog refinement and Scrum adoption.
Encourage transparency and effective collaboration between teams and stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
Facilitate retrospectives and support follow-through on improvement actions.
Help teams improve flow and predictability using agile metrics such as velocity and cycle time.
Promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2–5+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master in a software or SaaS environment.
Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile principles.
Experience facilitating Scrum events and coaching teams.
Scrum Master certification (PSM, CSM, or equivalent) is a plus.
Strong communication and facilitation skills.
