Job Description
- Design and develop the primary engineering for HV substations for various projects, including new installations, upgrades, and expansions.
- Develop detailed design drawings, calculations, and specifications using industry standards and company guidelines.
- Perform load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies and the necessary calculations required for electrical equipment sizing.
- Prepare, review the necessary technical specifications for substation electrical components.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to gather necessary information for design and construction.
- Provide quality reviews of construction packages prior to issuance to construction.
- Provide technical assistance during the construction of projects.
Job Requirements
- 3-7 years of experience in primary engineering of substations.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university
- Proficient use of software: AutoCAD - ETAP
- Strong understanding of electrical theories, codes & standards of electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
