Role Description

East Engineering Consultancy is seeking a BIM Mechanical Engineer for a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. The role involves designing and developing mechanical systems, utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to create and update mechanical layouts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met. The BIM Mechanical Engineer will manage and coordinate mechanical designs, contribute to research and development, and oversee project progress while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

 

 

Job Requirements

 

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design
• Strong knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD - Revit ) and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Experience in Project Management and team coordination
• Involvement in Research and Development (R&D) to drive innovation in engineering design
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is mandatory
• Familiarity with construction codes, regulations, and industry standards is a plus
• Previous experience working in architectural/engineering consultancy is beneficial
• Previous experience 3 years.
• BIM certified is a must L.O.D 350/ L.O.D 400/ L.O.D 500.
