Job Title: General Insurance Specialist

Role Purpose:

The General Insurance Specialist at Al Bawani Construction Company is responsible for supporting and managing the company’s general insurance activities. This role involves assisting with policy management, claims coordination, risk assessment, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The position requires close coordination with insurance providers and internal departments to maintain optimal insurance coverage and mitigate risk effectively.


Key Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining and renewing insurance policies.

Prepare and organize documentation related to insurance coverage.

Coordinate with insurance providers and internal teams for policy updates.

Support the procurement of insurance at favorable terms.

Manage and follow up on insurance claims.

Collect and file required documents for claims.

Track and maintain records of all submitted claims.

Assist with insurance-related risk assessments.

Analyze data on potential insurance exposures.

Monitor industry changes and update records as needed.

Ensure compliance with insurance laws and company policies.

Prepare reports for internal and external use.

Maintain audit-ready insurance records.

Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers and internal departments.

Share timely insurance updates with relevant stakeholders.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Industry Focus:

Construction Industry

Experience Required:

3–5 years in general insurance or a related field

Experience with insurance claims and policy administration

Familiarity with construction-related insurance coverage is a plus

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field

Insurance certifications (e.g., GBA, CEBS) are preferred


Key Skills:

Strong attention to detail and organization

Effective communication and coordination skills

Understanding of insurance terminology and regulations

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Basic proficiency in insurance management software
