Responsibilities:
- Manage the cost control team in overseeing project cost performance and cash flow forecasting.
- Coordinate the development of initial project budgets by reviewing resource requirements and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
- Update and maintain the monthly current budget, reflecting scope changes and providing accurate financial tracking.
- Review and Develop monthly cost reports, flag critical variances, and recommend corrective actions to maintain financial targets.
- Track project cost plans continuously and identify deviations from baseline and recommend corrective financial actions.
- Resolve invoicing delays or discrepancies by coordinating with finance, procurement, and project teams.
- Analyze project cash flow performance and prepare detailed financial reports as needed.
- Support the Cost Control Manager in maintaining and updating project cost risk registers.
- Oversee project closeout processes, ensuring all financial documentation and reporting are completed in alignment with project requirements.
- Provide cost analysis for variation orders and claims to support contract and commercial functions.
- Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities and mitigation plans throughout project phases.
- Maintain accuracy and completeness of all project cost databases in line with departmental requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Professional Certification: PMP, PRMG or CCE certificate is preferred.
- EPC background, preferably in the Industrial field (Power Generation, Substation, Oil & Gas, Water treatment plants, Factories, etc.)
- Minimum +10 years of experience in Cost Control/Project Controls.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
