WorkInGreece is currently recruiting Manufacturing Operators for a leading company in the Tissue Paper Manufacturing Industry, one of the fastest-growing industrial sectors in Greece and the Balkans.

This is a permanent opportunity within a modern 24/7 production environment that is part of a strong international business group. Job Location is Greece.

About the Role

We have a vacancy for a Manufacturing Operator working on a 24/7 shift pattern. Within the role you will be responsible for an area of the papermaking operation where you will form part of a team for the paper machine. The team work together to create mother reels accordingly to performance KPI's while always operating in a safe manner and ensuring quality of the highest standard.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for operating the machinery in your assigned area where you will execute all operational tasks with excellence and adhere to all documented procedures, while being responsible for keeping your area clean & well organised. You will have accountability for quality checks in your responsible area, and you will follow several internal processes to ensure all product test criteria is met. Within the role you will record any tasks completed in the daily management system and execute any schedule maintenance activities set out by your

team leader.

Who You Are

You will have previous experience in working in similar FMCG industry where you have been proactive in using H&S practices in your day-to-day work. You will enjoy problem solving and troubleshooting issues to find the root cause. Communicating effectively will be important to you and you will be someone who likes to ensure their work is accurate by paying attention to detail.

Skills

We would love to hear from you if you have.

A basic manufacturing process knowledge of Tissue Paper

A technical background either mechanical or electrical

The ability to react quickly under pressure.

A degree level qualification in Engineering (desirable)

English knowledge

PC literate

Willingness to relocate to Greece
