Responsibilities:

• Budget Development: Assist in the development of project budgets, including estimating costs for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Cost Monitoring: Track project expenditures and compare them against the budget to identify variances and potential issues.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on budget status, forecasts, and variances to project management and stakeholders.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data related to costs and project performance to identify trends, forecast future expenses, and support decision-making.
• Change Management: Evaluate the financial impact of changes in project scope and assess the need for budget adjustments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure that all costs are accounted for and controlled.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks that could affect project costs and develop mitigation strategies.
• Compliance: Ensure that all financial practices adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to cost control processes and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Architecture)
• Proven experience as a Cost Engineer
• 2-4 years of experience
