Job Summary:

Public Relations Officer is responsible for managing the bank's communication with the press and media outlets to enhance its public image and reputation. Key responsibilities include preparing press releases, coordinating with journalists to ensure accurate and timely news dissemination, and building strong relationships with media professionals. The role also involves crafting speeches for senior management, analyzing and reporting on media coverage, and monitoring industry news and competitor activity. Additionally, the specialist oversees the preparation of daily news reports for senior executives and facilitates interviews with top management, ensuring consistent and effective messaging in alignment with the bank's objectives.


Job Description:

  • Preparing press releases about the bank's activities for newspapers and magazines and maintaining constant communication with journalists and media professionals dealing with the bank to strengthen relationships with them.
  • Publishing news in various newspapers and magazines, coordinating with journalists to monitor publication, and preparing coverage reports.
  • Preparing speeches for the Chairman of the Board and senior management members on various occasions.
  • Preparing reports on media coverage of press news published about the bank in newspapers, magazines, and online platforms.
  • Coordinating and preparing responses for interviews conducted with senior management members.
  • Monitoring press news issued by competing banks and preparing an annual report on the number of such news items and their publication frequency.
  • Preparing and reviewing the daily news report issued for senior management members of the bank (covering Bank of Cairo, competing banks, economic.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in media, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in media relations, public relations, or corporate communications.
  • Experience in banking, financial services, or a similar industry is an advantage.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with journalists and media professionals.
  • Proficiency in preparing press releases, speeches, and media coverage reports.
  • Knowledge of media monitoring tools and analytics for tracking coverage and competitive activity.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to review and edit materials for accuracy and clarity.
