Job Summary:
The Technical Accounting Officer assists the accounting team with various daily and monthly tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of general accounting practices and excellent communication skills to effectively support the accounting team and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare account creation forms in coordination with the relevant department.
- Monitor existing accounts and review their nature according to the account structure of each product.
- Review discrepancies between accounts and products and work on resolving them with the concerned departments.
- Manage the data entry process for new accounts and classify them in accordance with accounting standards, in coordination with the Financial Reporting Department.
- Assist in financial reporting and monthly closing, particularly in reconciling balance sheet accounts.
- Support and assist in maintaining department policies and procedures.
- Monitor daily account analysis and ensure accuracy.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and intermediate proficiency in MS Excel.
- Full understanding of basic and intermediate accounting principles.
- Ability to perform fundamental mathematical operations.
- Handling and storing financial information securely.
- Strong attention to detail.
