Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment team member on a managerial level to join our dynamic team at Orient Insurance Company Egypt

Key areas and Responsibilities:

Stocks and Mutual Funds: Handle investments in equities and mutual funds (100% equities), utilizing valuation methods such as price-to-earnings (P/E) ratios, discounted cash flow (DCF), and comparative analysis.
Market Exploration: Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities, assessing their risk-return profiles to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
Portfolio Stress Testing: Conduct stress testing on the investment portfolio to evaluate its resilience under various market scenarios.
Strategic Reporting: Provide expert reporting on the current state of investments, including performance analysis, and forecast the portfolio’s shape over the upcoming 1, 3, and 5 years.
Portfolio Management: Follow company strategy, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with regulatory requirements.
Liquidity & Asset-Liability Matching (ALM) – Handling investments in alignment with insurance liabilities and doing it’s reporting on both EGP / USD sides

Job Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

Insurance field experience is preferred.
Proven experience in investment management, particularly in stocks, and mutual funds.
Strong knowledge of valuation methods for various financial instruments (e.g., DCF, YTM, P/E ratios).
Expertise in market analysis, risk assessment, and portfolio stress testing.
Ability to develop detailed investment reports, including short-term and long-term portfolio forecasts.
Familiarity with global investment trends and regulatory requirements in the insurance industry.
Strong analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.
Professional certifications are highly desirable.
