Job Summary:

The Captain Waiter plays a key role in ensuring high-quality service by leading the waitstaff team, overseeing table service, and ensuring guest satisfaction. He/she acts as the link between the kitchen, servers, and guests, ensuring smooth operations during service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide waiters/waitresses in their daily tasks
• Greet guests and ensure excellent service is delivered at all times
• Take orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly
• Recommend menu items and upsell when appropriate
• Ensure tables are properly set and maintained throughout service
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely order delivery
• Handle guest complaints or special requests in a professional manner
• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and grooming standards are maintained by the team
• Monitor dining areas to ensure a pleasant ambiance and proper setup
• Assist with training new service staff
• Ensure proper closing procedures are followed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a senior waiter or captain waiter
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Fluent in [specify languages if needed, e.g., English and Arabic]
