- On-site installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of machine tool equipment and controls.
- Delivering technical product demonstrations to customers as well as training in set-up, tooling, operating, and programming.
- Effective account management; promoting preventative maintenance, conducting after-sales technical
support, appropriately managing and directing resources to generate new business.
- Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships; understanding customer drivers and needs, developing solutions to address those needs while aligning them with DMG MORI business imperatives.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of territory strategic service plans, budget planning, and monthly forecasting.
- Collaborating with the spare parts coordinator by determining the parts required by the customer.
- Handling requests for service proposals and quotes (RFPs/RFQs).
- Preparation of service reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing repair information, as well as market analysis reports on competitors’ activities and market trends.
- Reconciling and integrating territory service activity reports; maintaining and updating customer databases (ERP).
- Providing on-call technical support.
- Complying with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- University degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical orientation
- 3 - 4 years of experience in a relevant field
- Experience with CNC Machines is a must
- Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams and schematics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
