Job Description

• Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences
• Work with individuals or small groups of students to reinforce learning objectives
• Assist with planning, preparation, and organisation of classroom resources and activities
• Help to maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Supervise students during non-classroom times (e.g., break, lunch, transitions)
• Provide support for students with additional needs as directed by the teacher or SEN team
• Assist with the preparation of displays and classroom organisation
• Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families to support student progress and well-being
• Participate in school events, trips, and activities as needed

Skills

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a recognised TA qualification is preferred
• Previous experience working with children in a school or early years setting
• A caring, patient, and flexible approach to supporting children’s learning
• Strong spoken and written English skills; Arabic is an advantage but not required
• Ability to follow direction while also taking initiative when needed
• Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• ADEK approval or eligibility is an advantage
