Job Description

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plastic processing machinery, including injection molding, blow molding, and auxiliary equipment (e.g., chillers, compressors, dryers).
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in machines, mold systems, and automation units to ensure minimal production downtime.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules based on equipment load, manufacturer recommendations, and production requirements.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and technical teams to ensure equipment reliability and consistent product quality.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, mold changes, and spare parts usage.
• Conduct root cause analysis of repeated equipment failures and implement long-term solutions or modifications.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, especially regarding thermal, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new plastic processing lines or upgrades.
• Train and supervise technicians and machine operators on proper handling, basic troubleshooting, and daily checks.
• Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and suppliers for technical support, spare parts procurement, and performance optimization.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a plastic manufacturing environment, preferably with injection and blow molding machines.
• Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in industrial machines
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to breakdowns.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with production and technical teams.
• Commitment to safety standards and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends or emergency on-calls if required.
• Familiarity with maintenance software or CMMS systems for reporting and planning.
• Basic proficiency in English (technical reading & writing) is preferred.
