Job Description

The Production Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the entire production process in the factory. This role covers high-level operational planning, team leadership, resource coordination, and performance monitoring to ensure cost-effective, timely, and quality-driven manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Production Planning & Execution

• Develop and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Ensure efficient use of materials, labor, and equipment to meet production goals.
• Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.

🔹 Operations & Process Management

• Supervise the production floor and manage operations across departments including maintenance, logistics, and quality.
• Coordinate with procurement, inventory, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability and minimal downtime.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma).

🔹 Team Leadership

• Manage production supervisors, line leaders, and shift teams to ensure productivity and accountability.
• Ensure training, motivation, and performance evaluation of staff.
• Promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

🔹 Quality Assurance

• Work with the Quality Control department to ensure that products meet required standards.
• Address production issues quickly to minimize waste or rework.

🔹 Compliance & Safety

• Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain records and documentation for audits and inspections.

🔹 Cost & Resource Control

• Control production costs and suggest ways to improve cost-efficiency.
• Monitor and manage production budgets.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a production/operations role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership experience in managing people and processes.
• Strong understanding of production KPIs, workflows, and manufacturing systems.
• Proficiency in ERP or production software tools.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance.
• Good communication in Arabic and English.
