Job Description

• Cost Management:
• Estimating project costs, preparing budgets, and tracking expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
• Tendering and Procurement:
• Prepare tender documents, manage the tendering process, and procure necessary goods and services.
• Contract Administration:
• Managing contracts with contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and resolving contractual disputes.
• Valuation and Payment:
• Measuring and valuing completed work, processing payments to contractors, and managing variations to the contract.
• Financial Reporting:
• Preparing financial reports, forecasts, and cost analysis for project stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in architectural quantity surveying or a related field.
• Proven experience in a managerial or section head role within the construction or architectural industry.
• Architecture background is a must  
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration for architectural projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard QS software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, outsourced, and collaborative environment.
