Job summary

A Facilities Manager maintains and oversees a company's grounds buildings and equipment to ensure that a workspace is safe and functional.

Responsibilities

• Delegating cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members.
• Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas.
• Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed.
• Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.
• Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace.
• Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities.
• Creating reports on maintenance repairs safety and other occurrences.
• Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 3 years experience as Facilities Manager.
• Advanced mechanical and plumbing skills.
• Knowledge of HVAC and other building systems.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and do other labor-intensive tasks.
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.
