Job Description

The Facilities Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities, including equipment, systems, and buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and resolve issues
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as HVAC system maintenance, plumbing repairs, and electrical work
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance
  • Respond to facility-related emergencies and perform repairs as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of facility maintenance plans and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Skills

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Facilities Technician or similar role
  • Technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex maintenance issues
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
  • Certification in facility management or a related field is a plus
