Job Description

As a CCTV Controller, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing the CCTV systems to ensure the safety and security of our retail premises. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate the CCTV system to ensure the security of the retail premises
• Conduct regular checks of the CCTV equipment to ensure it is in working order
• Respond promptly to any security breaches or alarms detected through the CCTV system
• Maintain accurate records of all footage and incidents for future reference
• Collaborate with security teams to address any security concerns identified through the CCTV system
• Adhere to all relevant privacy laws and regulations when handling and storing CCTV footage

Skills

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CCTV Controller or a similar role in a retail or security environment
• Familiarity with CCTV equipment and software
• Ability to remain focused and alert during long periods of monitoring
• Excellent attention to detail and observation skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Understanding of privacy laws and regulations related to CCTV monitoring
