Job Description

• Collect and analyze data to determine costs of business activities, such as raw material purchases,   inventory, and labor
• Conduct cost variance analysis and provide detailed reports to management
•  Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and documentation
•  Prepare cost forecasts and budgets, and assist in financial planning and analysis
•  Monitor and analyze manufacturing overhead and identify areas for cost improvement
•  Reconcile inventory accounts and assist in monthly and annual closing procedures
•  Collaborate with production, procurement, and other departments to ensure accurate costing
• Assist in internal and external audits related to costing

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 5 to 7 years of proven experience in cost accounting within an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and reporting skills in English and Arabic
