Job PurposeThe role holder is responsible for implementing and maintaining cybersecurity controls across Specialized’s IT infrastructure, ensuring secure system configurations, and supporting incident detection and response activities. He/She contributes to the enforcement of cybersecurity policies, vulnerability management, and secure access practices. The role holder shall carry out their duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.Key Functional AccountabilityImplements cybersecurity controls, tools, and configurations across Specialized’s IT infrastructure to ensure protection from threats.Translates cybersecurity policies and procedures into executable technical measures and system settings. -Participates in the review of infrastructure deployments to ensure alignment with security-by-design principles.Conducts security monitoring, log analysis, and incident detection on servers, networks, and endpoints.Supports in analyzing and responding to cybersecurity incidents, assisting in containment and remediation.Assists in investigations of security breaches, gathers logs and evidence, and prepares preliminary reports.Configures and maintains cybersecurity technologies, including antivirus systems, firewalls, and endpoint detection tools.Tracks and manages vulnerabilities across systems and coordinates with relevant teams to apply patches and fixes.Supports enforcement of access control policies, including user roles, permissions, and identity management.Maintains security documentation and assists in audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.Coordinates with IT infrastructure and Helpdesk teams to align security practices with operational procedures.Engages with vendors and service providers for security tools support, licensing, and updates.Assists in defining and updating IT security operational procedures, backup plans, and recovery guidelines.Conducts basic risk assessments for infrastructure-related changes and proposes mitigating measures.
