Job Purpose

Specification engineers analyze different aspects of a project based on the size and type of the project. Based on the job listings we researched, prepare estimate of the materials and equipment required and documentation using standard estimating forms.

TASKS

• Prepare specification of the materials and equipment required to perform the hardware.
• Prepare documentation using standard specification forms, filling in dimensions, numbers of units, and other information.
• Lead customers through the process of getting their locks repaired.
• Align with the client to ensure the repair process goes smoothly and is completed correctly.
• Prepare both technical and financial offers.
• Guide and lead contractors with installation instructions. Develop and provide product data sheet.
• Lead the funnel management & analytics for all projects in hand.
• Develop a cost summary for the entire project, which includes the costs of equipment, materials and any additional costs that may affect the project.
• Meet all financial performance objectives for area of responsibility and take corrective action as needed.
• Actively and consistently recommend and support all efforts to improve, simplify, automate, and enhance day to day service delivery operations and the client experience.

EXPERIENCE

2 years specification experience preferred in the mechanical industry

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred in mechanical.
