Job Description

We are looking for an Experienced Potatoes Quality Agronomist  who is willing to work on agricultural sites located in Sharq Al Owaynat, New Valley as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1- Implements and monitors the quality policies and procedures for operations conducted at the agricultural site.
2- Conducts daily monitoring of operations conducted at the site (soil preparation, planting, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, etc., harvesting) and continuously monitors measurements and rates to ensure compliance with quality policies, procedures, and standards.

3- Conducts periodic plant inspections throughout the season according to established sampling, testing, and analysis plans and methods, ensuring compliance with the required quality standards up to the final product stage.
4- Inspects agricultural materials  supplied to the site, ensuring they comply with specifications and that the required documents and certificates are available for each.

5- Monitors and follows up with warehouses, ensuring good storage practices are followed and all necessary instructions are adhered to to ensure the safety of their contents.
6- Submit required reports to direct manager on time.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Potatoes Quality Agronomist.
• Good command of English language skills
• Strong skills of MS Word and MS Excel.
• Previous experience in ERP is preferred.
• Flexibility to work on projects located on remote sites..
