Job Description

• Prepare and analyze cost reports, budgets, and forecasts to support business decision-making.
• Monitor and control manufacturing and operational costs across multiple business units.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual and standard costs, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate allocation of costs and adherence to company policies.
• Maintain and update cost accounting systems and processes for improved efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements related to cost accounting.
• Support internal and external audits by providing detailed cost data and documentation.
• Develop and implement cost control procedures to optimize resource utilization and reduce waste.
• Provide management with actionable insights through detailed cost analysis and reporting.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff on cost accounting principles and best practices.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of proven experience in cost accounting, preferably in Construction, field.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, methods, and best practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
