Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor located in Qesm 2nd 6 October. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for tasks including cost control, preparing bills of quantities (BOQ), cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting. The role involves maintaining budget adherence, accurate

cost estimation, and efficient financial management of construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for all project items.
• Prepare and verify monthly progress payments for contractors and suppliers.
• Analyze prices and estimate total project costs.
• Review tenders and contracts to ensure technical and financial accuracy.
• Prepare financial reports and monitor project budgets.
• Handle variations and claims in coordination with relevant departments.
• Coordinate with technical and site teams to ensure accuracy of quantities and data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and billing.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and experience with CostX or Candy is a plus.
• Good knowledge of FIDIC contracts is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
