Job Summary

The Process Engineer is responsible for monitoring and controlling chemical processes. The role ensures that raw materials and finished products meet required quality and environmental standards, while supporting operational efficiency and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise chemical analyses of raw materials (iron ore, coke, ferroalloys, lime, etc.).

• Monitor chemical reactions and metallurgical parameters in furnaces and treatment stages.

• Ensure that product composition meets quality and production specifications.

• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to improve efficiency and minimize waste.

• Identify process deviations and recommend corrective actions.

• Prepare detailed technical reports on test results and product quality.

• Enforce safety, health, and environmental compliance within the plant.

• Participate in developing analytical methods and optimizing process performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.

• Completion of internships or university projects.

• Proficiency in laboratory instrumentation and Microsoft Office tools.
