Job Title: Safety Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Specialist to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines within our industrial facility located in 6th of October City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial safety and demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying hazards, preventing accidents, and promoting a culture of safety across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local laws and international standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards in the workplace.
• Monitor operations to ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, or near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Deliver training programs for employees on safe work practices, emergency procedures, and the use of PPE.
• Coordinate with various departments to integrate safety requirements into operational processes.
• Ensure proper signage, fire safety systems, and emergency equipment are in place and regularly maintained.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in safety legislation and communicate relevant updates to the team.
• Liaise with government safety inspectors during site visits or investigations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, One year or more study..
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Safety Specialist in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or IOSH are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor laws and international safety standards (ISO 45001, etc.).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software.

Working Conditions:

• Based on-site at the industrial facility in 6th of October City.
