Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Cairo, Egypt, for the role of Senior Contract Engineer. In this role, you will oversee contract management processes, including drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, managing claims and disputes, and collaborating with project teams to address contract-related issues. You will also provide expert advice on risk assessment, cost control, and contract-related decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Contracts and Claims Management, with experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
  • Proficiency in Project Management and understanding construction management processes and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Cost Control, Quantity Surveying (QS), and Value Engineering.
  • Familiarity with design services including architectural, structural, civil, and MEP disciplines.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in contract-related software and tools is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications in contract management or project management are a plus.
