Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct scientific and analytical examinations of metal artifacts to assess their condition and determine the most appropriate conservation methods.

Perform cleaning, stabilization, and strengthening treatments using advanced techniques and materials that comply with international conservation standards.

Prepare detailed technical reports documenting the condition of artifacts before and after conservation.

Contribute to the development of long-term preservation plans for metal artifacts within storage and display environments.

Specialized since 2020 in managing the packing and transport of artifacts to the Grand Egyptian Museum, including:

Assessing the condition of each artifact prior to transport and identifying safety requirements.

Designing and implementing customized packing systems according to international transport standards.

Supervising the entire transport process to ensure the safe movement and unloading of artifacts.

Collaborating with engineering and logistics teams to ensure the highest levels of protection.


Work within a multidisciplinary team of conservators, engineers, and logistics specialists to ensure the safe arrival of artifacts to exhibition halls.

Participate in training and capacity building for new teams on safe packing and transport procedures.
