We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Social Media Assistant to lead and elevate the online presence of a fast-growing real estate group and its affiliated brands. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content, supporting agent marketing efforts, ensuring brand consistency, and building meaningful connections across all digital platforms.

This role goes far beyond daily posting. It involves relationship-building, engagement strategy, and storytelling to showcase the heart of the organization. From handling agent requests and managing multiple brand accounts to providing event coverage and analysing performance, this position plays a key role in shaping the company’s digital identity.

Job Highlights

Hourly Rate: The equivalent of $8.00 USD per hour in the applicant’s local currency

Schedule: Full time - 40h per week - Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM central standard time.

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

Content Creation & Publishing

  • Design and publish daily content across multiple social media platforms, including:
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn
  • TikTok
  • Manage weekly content for property management brands or related business units.
  • Monitor incoming property listing submissions (email and forms) and create/post listing graphics or reels as needed.
  • Maintain an organized content calendar and graphics library (approx. 28 graphics/month).
  • Share weekly content calendars with agents.

Community Engagement & Monitoring

  • Actively respond to comments and messages across all platforms.
  • Share agent-generated content and company highlights.
  • Manage internal Facebook groups used for agent/community communication:
  • Approve new members
  • Remove inactive or departing members
  • Update pinned posts weekly with meeting or training content
  • Keep Google Business Profiles updated for all office locations.
  • Monitor shared inboxes daily for incoming social media or marketing requests.
  • Manage and publish content for leadership-related or executive social accounts.

Agent Support

  • Create and manage tailored social media campaigns for individual agents or teams.
  • Support select agents with recurring custom content needs, including ads, marketplace posts, graphics, and reels.
  • Host 2–3 weekly one-on-one sessions for social audits, marketing plans, or platform setup.
  • Assist with:
  • Social media compliance
  • Canva support
  • Reel creation
  • Google Business Profiles
  • Meta Ads management

Training & Resources

  • Compile and distribute monthly marketing analytics reports.
  • Create “How-To” guides and social media tip sheets for agents.
  • Provide hands-on support with ad creation, page setup, branding, and platform optimization.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Meta Business Ads and managing multiple social media accounts is required.
  • 2+ years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in real estate, sales, or a creative/agency environment.
  • Proficient in:
  • Canva
  • Meta Business Suite
  • Instagram Reels
  • Facebook Ads
  • TikTok content creation
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills.
  • Strong visual awareness and attention to branding consistency.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and work under tight deadlines.
  • Passion for digital storytelling and community engagement.
  • Bonus: Experience with Google Business Profiles and real estate marketing platforms.
