UI/UX Designer

We’re looking for a hands-on UI/UX Designer to support the development of a new automation framework. This is a short-term, part-time engagement where you’ll work closely with engineering and product stakeholders to shape user experiences, drive UX discussions, and help deliver clean, functional interfaces.

What you’ll do

• Partner with product and engineering teams to design UI/UX for a new automation framework.
• Drive UX design discussions: clarify needs, propose flows, and align stakeholders.
• Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Translate requirements into intuitive, scalable interface patterns.
• Ensure designs align with established component libraries and development constraints.
• Support developers through handoff, design QA, and iteration.

Must-have experience

You should be comfortable working in modern cloud + front-end environments and familiar with:

• AWS Amplify
• ReactJS
• Cloudscape Design System
• TypeScript
• Strong ability to lead/drive UX design conversations and align teams

Nice to have

• Experience with API-first design
• AWS API Gateway
• AWS CDK

Engagement details

• Start: ASAP (flexible)
• Workload: 32 hours/week
• Duration: 12 weeks total
• Contract: B2B / contract-based, remote delivery
• Team: cross-functional, high autonomy, fast feedback loop
