We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Manager with 7 years of experience to lead and oversee digital delivery, BIM standards, and model coordination across multidisciplinary projects. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically strong, and capable of driving digital transformation within the organization while ensuring the highest levels of accuracy, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Strategy & Standards

• Develop and implement company-wide BIM strategies and digital delivery plans.
• Establish and maintain BIM standards, workflows, and protocols aligned with ISO 19650.
• Create, update, and manage BIM Execution Plans (BEP) for all projects.
• Monitor BIM compliance across active projects and perform regular model audits.

Model Coordination & Quality Assurance

• Lead BIM coordination meetings to ensure cross-discipline model integration.
• Conduct clash detection using Navisworks, BIM 360, ACC, and related tools.
• Perform detailed model audits for geometry, metadata, LOD, and naming conventions.
• Supervise federated models, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.

Team Support & Training

• Develop and deliver internal BIM training programs.
• Provide technical support for advanced BIM workflows and troubleshooting.
• Maintain up-to-date BIM documentation and training materials.

Technology & Software Management

• Manage BIM software licenses, hardware requirements, and cloud platforms.
• Research and implement new digital tools, automation scripts (Dynamo, Python), and workflow enhancements.
• Promote adoption of VR/AR, Laser Scanning, Digital Twins, and emerging technologies.

Collaboration & Communication

• Act as the primary point of contact for all BIM-related communication.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to align BIM deliverables.
• Lead BIM kickoff meetings and digital coordination workshops.

Data Management & Digital Handover

• Manage structured data deliverables such as COBie and IFC for FM systems.
• Administer CDE platforms including BIM 360, ACC, Aconex, and Dalux.
• Oversee digital handover requirements and milestone submissions.

Skills & Expertise

Technical Skills

• Expert in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC.
• Strong knowledge of Solibri, Synchro, and coordination platforms.
• Model validation, clash detection, and federated model management.
• CDE administration (BIM 360, Aconex, Dalux).
• Automation skills using Dynamo/Python (basic to intermediate).
• Experience with COBie, IFC, Laser Scanning, Digital Twins, and point clouds.
• Quantity extraction and BIM-based reporting.

Managerial Skills

• BIM planning, team delegation, and internal resource management.
• QA/QC of BIM deliverables across disciplines.
• Strong documentation (BEPs, audits, workflows).
• Budgeting for BIM tools, hardware, and infrastructure.
• Training and mentoring junior BIM staff.
• Ensuring timely BIM deliverables for each project stage.

Communication Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication for technical coordination.
• Ability to lead stakeholder workshops and client presentations.
• Skilled at translating complex BIM concepts into simple, clear language.
• Leadership and conflict resolution ability in multi-disciplinary environments.

Knowledge

• Deep understanding of ISO 19650 workflows and design processes.
• Familiarity with construction methodologies and procurement routes.
• Knowledge of value engineering and cost optimization principles.
• Awareness of sustainability standards such as LEED or Estidama (if applicable).
