The Portfolio Manager will oversee and optimize diversified investment portfolios, contributing to strategic investment decisions while ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks, risk guidelines, and performance objectives in a professional and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and periodically review comprehensive portfolio strategies aligned with the firm’s investment objectives.
- Construct, manage, and rebalance multi-asset portfolios to optimize returns while adhering to risk, liquidity, and compliance guidelines.
- Conduct in-depth fundamental, technical, macroeconomic, and sector analysis to identify attractive investment opportunities.
- Evaluate both listed and private investment opportunities using financial statement analysis, valuation techniques, and industry benchmarks.
- Prepare investment recommendations with clear rationale, including buy, hold, sell, or exit strategies.
- Monitor portfolio performance, volatility, concentration, and market exposures on a daily and weekly basis.
- Conduct scenario analysis, stress testing, and sensitivity assessments to assess portfolio resilience.
- Execute trades efficiently through approved brokers and trading platforms, ensuring compliance with market standards.
- Ensure all investment activities comply with local regulations, internal policies, risk limits, and Sharia guidelines (if applicable).
- Maintain accurate documentation for investment decisions, compliance monitoring, and reporting purposes.
- Present portfolio performance, market updates, and strategic recommendations to senior management and investment committees.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including fund managers, custodians, brokers, banks, and research providers.
- Support investor relations by providing portfolio insights for reporting to clients or shareholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. CFA/CAIA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of portfolio management or investment analysis experience, preferably within multi-asset or institutional investment environments.
- Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling, valuation, and quantitative analysis.
- Deep understanding of global and regional markets, economic trends, and investment risk management.
- Proficiency in portfolio management tools, trading platforms, and investment analytics software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex investment insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Proven ability to make informed, strategic decisions in dynamic market conditions.
- High ethical standards and integrity, with a strong commitment to compliance and governance.
