Job Description
- Ensure food safety, security, and sanitation systems are maintained in accordance with HACCP, and other guidelines.
- Conduct periodic inspections of facilities, equipment, practices, etc. Random inspection for all the food & beverage activities to assure the validation of the implemented food safety system.
- Communicate minor or major non-conformities with related departments.
- Notifies FQ&SA manager about any critical non-conformities.
- Monitor the implementation of all required food safety standards.
- Establishing quality reports to assure that all food menu items comply with the Approved SOPs.
- Monitor the personal hygiene and health condition of food handlers.
- Investigate any food safety incidents and report them to FQ&SA Manager.
- Check CCP’s for HACCP on the production areas.
- Co-operate in coaching, mentoring and implementation of food safety programs in the operation field.
- Conduct timely follow-ups for all corrective actions.
- Follow up daily, weekly, and monthly reports to be presented to FQ&SA Manager.
- Perform any additional tasks that might be necessary for easier workflow, within the mainframe of the job specialty.
Job Requirements
Educational background and previous experience:
- Bachelor’s degree “Tourism and Hotels, Science, Veterinary or Agriculture” or Associate’s with experience in the field.
- 1-3 years’ prior experience in Food Safety Field and Specially in the catering and F&B field.
Knowledge and Functional Skills:
- HACCP – ISO 22000 is Preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
