Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Food Safety Specialist to support and monitor food safety and quality standards throughout our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with food safety regulations during storage, handling, and transportation, helping maintain product integrity throughout the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor food safety practices across warehouses, cold storage, and transportation operations.
• Ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP).
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of logistics facilities, vehicles, and handling processes.
• Identify food safety risks and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records related to food safety compliance.
• Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and transport teams to implement food safety procedures.
• Support training and awareness programs for staff on food safety and hygiene practices.
• Assist in incident investigations related to food quality or safety issues.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Veterinary, Agriculture or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or a similar role—preferably within logistics, warehousing, or distribution.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations (HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000).
• Basic understanding of cold chain management and food handling in logistics environments.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
