Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Content Specialist to manage and enhance our companys presence on LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and relevant content, collecting data to inform posts, designing compelling visuals, and actively engaging with our audience. This role requires excellent communication skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for connecting with audiences in the poultry and agriculture sector.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation:

  • Develop, write, and publish high-quality content tailored to LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook audiences.
  • Ensure all posts align with the companys brand voice and messaging.
  • Use storytelling techniques to highlight the companys achievements, updates, and industry insights.

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Research industry trends, company activities, and customer preferences to create relevant posts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather data, success stories, and updates for content.
  • Analyze performance metrics to guide content strategy and improve engagement.

Visual Design:

  • Create or coordinate the creation of graphics, infographics, and videos to accompany posts.
  • Ensure visuals are eye-catching, professional, and aligned with the companys branding.

Community Engagement:

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Foster positive relationships with the online community by engaging in meaningful interactions.

Strategy Development:

  • Assist in planning content calendars and campaign strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader marketing goals.

Reporting:

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rates, follower growth, and reach.
  • Use insights to refine strategies and optimize future content.


 

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in social media content creation or digital marketing.
  • Skills:
    • Fluent in English is a must. 
    • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in using social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook.
    • Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Knowledge of social media analytics and tools like Meta Business Suite or LinkedIn Analytics.
    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
