The Role: Remote Full Stack Developer (Egypt-Based)

As a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer at Recast Designs, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex web and mobile applications. You will play a dual role in translating high-fidelity designs into functional code and architecting the logic that powers our custom builds. This position requires a candidate who is as comfortable in Figma as they are in a code editor, ensuring that every product we ship meets our rigorous standards for performance and aesthetics.

Remote Collaboration & Availability

While this is a remote position, we operate as a high-synchronicity team.

• Work Hours: You are expected to be online and fully available during our core business hours (typically 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM GMT+3).
• Responsiveness: We value "on-call" readiness during work hours to participate in rapid troubleshooting, sprint check-ins, and design reviews via Slack and Google Meet.
• Time Zone: Egypt and Jordan are closely aligned, making real-time collaboration seamless.

Core Responsibilities

• Web Development: Own the development of custom web applications ($7k+) utilizing a core stack of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimized performance.
• Mobile Engineering: Architect and deploy cross-platform mobile applications ($15k–$25k) using Flutter, maintaining a high standard for smooth UI interactions and backend connectivity.
• Design-to-Code Translation: Work directly within Figma to interpret design systems and assets, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation and maintaining the integrity of the user experience.
• Full-Cycle Ownership: Manage technical components from initial scoping and design handoff through to deployment and maintenance.

Technical Requirements

• Core Web Stack: Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (including modern CSS frameworks and preprocessors).
• Mobile Development: Professional experience in mobile app development using Flutter and Dart.
• Design Tools: Mastery of Figma for asset extraction and UI review; professional experience with Photoshop is strongly preferred for advanced asset manipulation.
• Integrations: Experience working with RESTful APIs, NoSQL Firebase third-party libraries.
• Environment: Familiarity with modern version control (Git) and deployment workflows tailored for high-speed agency environments.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record in an agency or fast-paced startup setting.
• Visual Acuity: A strong eye for design and detail, with the ability to bridge the gap between creative concepts and technical constraints.
• Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with scalable, long-term solutions.
• Autonomy: Highly motivated to manage independent workloads and meet rigorous delivery milestones for high-value clients in the GCC.

Compensation and Operational Standards

We offer a competitive monthly salary ranging from $650 to $1,000 USD (pegged to USD/JOD to ensure financial stability).

As we serve high-stakes clients in the KSA and UAE markets, our workflow requires high synchronicity. Candidates must be fully online and available for real-time collaboration and "on-call" responsiveness during our core business hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM GMT+3).
