Job Description
- Develop and execute interior design concepts for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and deliver tailored design solutions.
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and 3D visualizations using industry-standard software.
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, furnishings, and lighting to achieve desired aesthetics and functionality.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful completion within scope.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress, ensure design intent is maintained, and resolve any on-site issues.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and innovative design techniques.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Present design proposals and concepts to clients, incorporating feedback and revisions as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of proven experience in interior design engineering or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and other design software.
- Excellent understanding of materials, finishes, and construction methods.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team collaboration.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Experience working in an office-based environment.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively and efficiently.
- Knowledge of current design trends and best practices.
